In this introductory guide, youll learn the basics of creating and sharing prototypes. Once you have some widgets on the canvas, you can add interactivity to them in the Interactions pane. Many properties like fill color and font are also located in the style toolbar along the top of the canvas for quick access. Alternatively, you can click Duplicate to make a new style. To add a new style, click Add at the top of the dialog. You can also access this dialog via the Project Widget Style Manager menu option. Remove any former versions of the SAP icon font. To change the visual appearance of your widgets, head over to the Style pane. Click the Manage Widget Styles icon, next to the widget style dropdown in the Style pane or the style toolbar, to open the Widget Style Manager. Open Axure RP and change the default font within Axure RP to font 72 by using the Widget Style Manager ( Project / Widget Style Manager / Default / change font to 72). To edit the text on a widget, double click it, or select it and press ENTER. You can also use the options in the Insert menu to add text, images, and shapes. To add a widget to the canvas, drag it from the Libraries pane. Axure RP comes with four widget libraries pre-installed - Default, Flow, Icons, and Sample UI Patterns - but you can also create your own or add libraries created by your teammates. You’ll build your designs using widgets, which are organized into libraries in the Libraries pane. The navigation map gives you an overview of the canvas, enabling you to locate a specific artboard quickly. You can display and customize a background grid as well as vertical and horizontal guides that can be page-specific or globally applied to all pages in the project. You can work without boundaries, or you can set page dimensions based on the target device you're designing for. The Axure RP canvas includes a number of features to help you lay out your diagrams. The canvas is where you'll build your designs.
